TV Show Cancellation Thread (including ending ones)

“SWAT” is disbanding (permanently)
But Shemar Moore wants to keep it going…

3 Srikes and your out. S.W.A.T. Cancelled for the 3rd time.

Shemar Moore not happy about it either.

CBS no longer offering anything “After Midnight”
and with that, that ends 30 years of a second late night show on CBS and after the final episode airs, the 12:35 PM ET/11:35 PM ET time slot will be handed back to the local stations to air local programming in that time slot.

Allow me to correct your post:

“and with that, that ends 30 years of a second late night show on CBS and after the final episode airs, the 12:35 AM ET/11:35 PM CT time slot will be handed back to the local stations to air infomercials in that time slot.”😞

Am I surprised? Nah. Not surprised. CBS was probably bleeding money on that show from the start. She can't do Carpool Karaoke like Corden, she can't do hilarious sketches and have puppets and a funny robot like Ferguson, and she can't do hard interviews like Snyder.
Another reminder that traditional television is dying.

That won't get any viewers, either. It's not 1979 anymore. The CBS Late Movie is in the dustbin of history. Does the Average Joe (age 40, born in 1984-1985) want to watch an old '80s repeat of Night Heat?
I expect CBS affiliates will probably air a late-night rebroadcast of their late news at 12:37AM/11:37PM CT, then infomercials or the CBS News Roundup.

How expensive was that show to produce. I doubt it was that much. That's why they didn't do another talkshow in it's place.

WWMT just airs a paid programming at 1:30AM, which will be what they do at 12:30AM timeslot maybe they put repeat of the 11PM news or The National News Desk. I guess they could maybe air whatever ARC-WMI aired court show from Byron Cheapskate Allen's fake court shows since they aren't real.

KCCI 8 would probably air an encode episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show or they could move The Jennifer Hudson Show into the 11:35pm slot and air an encore episode of Kelly Clarkson at 12:35am.
