The DG's letter to his people is worth the read. I'm imagining both the number and complexity of coordination/legal review/rewrite cycles that letter went through before being released?

Some call them "CYA" files, clearly documenting one's position/innocence in anticipation of something failing. If you're wrong and the boss's master plan turns out to be a stroke of genius, they never see the light of day.

New boss coming in like this must have hurt some feelings among the old guard. Any CYA files would make for interesting reading if only to eventually see if any aggrieved employees were right or wrong.

Oh, for those who don't recognize the acronym, CYA is Cover Your Ass.
