TV show reboots never seem as good

Reboots take the original premise and start it over. Revivals are sequels, continuations of the original. More akin to a spinoff in that it happens in the same continuity. The Connors was not a reboot. Night Court was not a reboot. The current incarnation of Law & Order is not a reboot.

Good distinction. Should have been the title of the thread, but reboots by your definition are usually really bad, like the newer Spider Man films.
