TV Shows Where The Main Character (in real life) Died

Long-time WSMV-channel 4 (Nashville) news anchor Dan Miller suffered a heart attack and died while at the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, GA, in 2009. Two of his co-workers were on that trip with him, and one of those two was actually with him when he suffered his heart attack. I believe I had last seen him on TV earlier that week, and was not even aware that he was out of town.

Those of you in the rest of the country might remember Dan Miller as being Pat Sajak's sidekick during Sajak's brief CBS late-night talk show back around 1989 or so.
