TV Sports openings?

Many questions on my mind this evening:

Any news on the sports openings at KCCI and KGAN? With football season upon us, they must both be getting antsy. Will KCCI give Clint Jirus the job, or will it go to an outsider? And does anyone actually want the KGAN/KDSM job? First Garman is out, then Schulte leaves, and now it is some kind of rotation between Jared Aarons and Kevin Hall. Who will actually get put in there for good?

And how is Mark Meisenheimer being received after his first weekend on the air at WHO?

I'd like to know myself about the KGAN spot. I'm sick and tired of this turnover at Sports Director on KGAN. Since the early '90's they've had 7, count 'em 7 sports directors - John Baer, Mike Doocy, Keith Bleyer, Rod Mackey, Chris Miller, Andy Garman and most recently Karen Schulte. Now, they will be on their 8th one in the last 15 years. That's less than 2 years for each one! It's no wonder Channel 2 has been 3rd in the ratings for 15 years - TURNOVER, TURNOVER, TURNOVER - because they won't pay them what they are worth. That's just a guess as why they don't stick around. It most recently sounds like that's what happened with Andy Garman.
