College Basketball - Fred Hessler, UCLA announcer during the John Wooden era
NFL - Ray Scott, CBS
Baseball - Vin Scully
NBA - Chick Hearn
NHL - Bob Miller, LA Kings, his call of "The Miracle on Manchester" in the early 80s, where the Kings, trailing Edmonton and Wayne Gretzky 5-0 at the beginning of the third period, came back to win, is a masterpiece!

Vin Scully - LA Dodgers since 1958
Chick Hearn (God rest your beautiful soul) - LA Lakers (1960 til his death)
Bob Miller - LA Kings since 1973
Side note: This thread saddens me with the little acknowledgment of the NHL it has received. Hockey may not be the most popular and covered sport in the United States but there is not a trophy more beautiful and revered than Lord Stanley on this continent. And I'm not even Canadian.

Dick Enberg was the voice of the Rams until about 1978, when he left to join NBC, and was succeeded by Bob Starr.
