I was just watching last night's Leno on the DVR, and happened to catch a commercial for "Classic Hits Radio".... with NO STATION LOGO.
It's your standard radio station commercial featuring video footage of artists that the station plays, and I'm sitting here yelling out my guesses: "Ummmm, The River! No, 'KAB... errr, I mean, 103.5!" Then, the commercial ends with a screen that has "Playing All The Classic Hits!" at the bottom of the screen.... and an empty spot up top where a station logo should be.
NICE.
And I, playing the part of Joe Average Listener, decided to Google "classic hits radio" and it took me to a website for an internet station based in Rochester, MN. I'm sure that fellow Live 365 broadcaster appreciates getting some free TV advertising in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA
It's not like last night's Leno was probably the most-watched late night TV show ever, or anything.
(And, I thought I should come to a message board and share this with you all. Your welcome. ("Copy, paste! Copy, paste! Blind CC! Blind CC!"))
