Also, WKS in Columbus, OH, where Steven Keaton of Family Ties

But back to the topic:
I didn't catch whether or not the website mentioned former
three-letter TV station calls, but a few that come to mind:
KHJ/9 Los Angeles (now KCAL)
WOR/9 New York (now WWOR)
KOA/4 Denver (now KCNC)
KLZ/7 Denver (now KMGH)
WOW/6 Omaha (now WOWT)
WKY/4 Oklahoma City (now KFOR)
KID/3 Idaho Falls/Pocatello, ID (now KIDK)
WGR/2 Buffalo (now WGRZ)
WSM/4 Nashville (now WSMV)
KMJ/24 Fresno, CA (now KSEE)
WJZ/7 New York (the original WJZ, now WABC)
WMT/2 Cedar Rapids/Waterloo, IA (now KGAN)
WDIV/4 Detroit is the ORIGINAL WWJ. WJW/8 in Cleveland
changed its call letters to WJKW in the late '70s, but
later changed them back.
