You are correct. I e-mailed them back and they said the exact same thing. TV38's programming dept. is prompt in getting back to viewers!

BTW: I e-mailed WWOR, and will post any info I recieve as soon as they arrive.

Does this mean no more Phantom Gourmet Saturday Nights at 5PM on 96.9 FM Talk?

I would assume the radio show would continue. The Saturday afternoon airings are due to ACC football. Last year, it returned to 10:30a-12n after the season ended.

With that line up , I dont need any sleeping pills . Thank TV38 .

Wow, WSBK is getting better and better as an independent.Let's hope they keep it like that.
WSBK being a UPN affiliate brought them down image wise.

Today's "Quote, Unquote" column in "The Sidekick" (a daily supplement in The Boston Globe) is about TV38.

(I would like if it were online; but it is not {yet?})

Here's the substance of the article... "However they do it, TV38 needs something to stand out in the 500 channel universe."

I agree. But what would that be? Their general entertainment lineup seems to be the only thing that could be profitable. I'm surprised that they don't multicast using their digital station. They could air classic programming from the CBS-owned Paramount library on a new station. It would be an entire new revenue stream with little overhead.

As long as they keep "The Three Stooges" on Sunday mornings.... I'm happy as a clam! Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk!!!

Agreed! I do think they should show them on Saturdays as well. I remember them on in the 90s on Saturdays after Ask The Manager.

'Cheers' 5 nights a week is a start (they once did well with that show) and they are airing Saved By The Bell, which they once aired as well. If they added Empty Nest and Blossom at least, I would be hooked to TV38 even more.

That should read "link" anyway. (I had thought there was a function to edit posts; is it gone?)

Anyhow, I don't believe any of the articles in "The Sidekick" are available online. PM me and I'll see what I can do to get you the text.
