TV5 News Scene

Thanks for sharing these great clips. What else do you have tucked away from the late 70's or early 80's? WAGA had a really clever animated promo poking fun at the 1980 ABC/NBC Atlanta affiliate swap. Love hearing voice talent Jerry Immel and the Tuesday 8 news music on the "Specialists" promo. This brings back lots of memories.

It was great to see TV5 news scene back in the day. I take it that was 11:00 news, but why wasn't Jim Axel on the anchor desk? Do you have any more videos from that time from Channels 2 and 11? It would be nice to see it. Have you ever notice that most of the folks who work at WAGA-TV/5 go over to WXIA-TV/11. Chuck Moore and Guy Sharpe did the morning news on 11Alive back in the 90's.

Keep up the good work!

I don't know...

These are not my personal videos: just ones that I found on YouTube. You may want to post or send a message to the person that uploaded those videos.

You can add Brenda Wood, Paul Ossmann and Ken Watts to that list (among many others).

Cheers!
