TVMax d/b/a Wavevison $2.25 Million Fine by FCC

TVMax, which changed the name of its cable service to Wavevision, and provides service to a number of multi family condo/townhouse type developments primarily in Houston, was just hit with a $2.25 million fine for re-transmitting a number of Houston TV stations without consent. This company typically signs contracts with condo associations to provide basic cable to every unit for a set price that is paid whether the unit is occupied or not, and the condo association often pays the fees out of monthly condo maintenance payments, with the long term exclusive contract prohibiting other cable providers from servicing the condo. they provide really crappy service at the condo I used to live at, removing very popular channels. Didn't the all bills paid apt Lantern Village off Gulfton have TVMax (formally CableMaxx)?

Had a friends relatives who stayed there and had to have DSL because Time Warner didn't service those apartments back in 2004.
