TW Launching Buffalo Division

With the absorption of Adelphia's far western New York properties into the TW family, TW has decided the time was right to launch a Buffalo division. The new division will include Adelphia systems as well as the Erie county region of existing TW customers now served by the Rochester division.

Gordon Harp will be the Buffalo division's president. Harp had been president of Time Warner Cable’s division in Binghamton, N.Y. Tom Haywood will be the Buffalo division's vice president of customer operations. Haywood is currently VP of area operations for Adelphia.

Time Warner Cable also announced that its Binghamton division will be consolidated into its Syracuse division under that unit's president, Mary Cotter.

Maybe they'll renovate the NYC Terminal

Thanks for the word, Phil. That's at least some good news for Buffalo. It sounds like at least some of the current Adelphia jobs may remain.

It ain't quite like the office tower complex that was planned near the foot of Main Street, but we'll take what we can get.
