If do overs were real, "I can't watch a show with Desmond Howard on it" sends the same message as he needs to die or get fired. At the end of the day you have to remember who signs your checks and be craftier in your criticisms. Feel bad for him but not the first, the line is really long now - Cosell, Jimmy the Greek, etc. Heck Jimmy the Greek was at a restaurant when he ran his mouth into oblivion about athletic superiority, not on the air. Howard Cosell was just stupid and he should have known better, I still to this day can't believe I heard it. I was watching MNF in high school when he broke out his Alvin Garrett business, right away I knew he had stuck his foot deep into a platter of crap.
 
There have been hosts who have said worse, but I don't feel bad for him in the least. Act like a hack, don't be surprised you get the hack hook.
