Tweet! I'm ready to play!

ANy ideas about how to get that data coming from TRE and somehow make it update our tweeter. We could chick what sound is playing now an what song is coming up. We can also do giveaways through treet...probably not a novel idea... but trust me.. in this town is is!
Any thoughs?

One word... DON'T. Seriously. Don't.

This station does it. I unfollowed them, because it overpowered everyone else I was trying to have a conversation with on Twitter.

It's annoying, and it's not a good use of Twitter to flood it with song updates every 3 minutes. Just don't.

I can see how it would be annoying, but unless that station only plays 1-2 songs an hour, they probably aren't updating it with every song they play.

Maybe they've since toned it down, but "and now listening to Eric Clapton" isn't contributing anything to Twitter. Twitter is a /conversation/, and unless you participate, you're not contributing anything to it. If you're just going to feed your automation system into Twitter instead of using it to INTERACT with listeners, you're better off just staying off it.
