Twilight Zone Question

Does anyone know the name of this TZ episode?

In it, an astronaut commits some type of crime and is "sentenced" to solitary confinement on an asteroid. After a few years, a ship arrives bringing him what looks like a woman. In reality its a robot. When his sentence ends, he wants to take the "woman" back to earth. They explain to him it was just a robot and crack open her skull to reveal the electronics!

Anybody remember???

The episode was "The Lonely," starring Jack Warden. Actually, the robot woman is brought to him by the captain of a supply ship, who feels sympathy for this man's plight. He merely has to uncrate and activate it. After initial resentment, he comes to regard the robot as a real person. When his sentence is commuted, the supply ship returns but can only take so much additional weight. The captain blasts the robot to snap the man out of his delusion, and it works. The man can leave the asteroid and his lonely life behind. Great episode.

Ted Knight played one of the crew members in that one, and he had quite a few lines but he wasn't credited. I wonder why not.

Haven't seen the episode in a long time...Was he going by "Ted Knight" yet? Maybe he was credited under another name, possibly even his real name (Thaddeus Konopka, if I'm not mistaken).

IMDB shows him as using "Ted Knight" by the time of this episode but, as indicated, he waas not credited on-screen.

This episode scared the living bejezzus out of me for the longest time, back when I was a little kid in the 60's. The part that truly scared me was when the Captain of the ship, played by veteran actor John Dehner, shot the robot in the face only to show that it was merely a piece of machinery with wires and a small speaker in where a mouth should be ("Corey, Corey, Corey.....ssssssssss "poof"). He (Corey) had to be shown that his real life belongs on Earth and the robot was only an extension of his own loneliness. It was quite thought-provoking especially when I saw it later on when I became an adult. I love TZ especially when WPIX would run it every night back in the 70's. "The Lonely" has to be my favorite TZ episode of all time.
