Twin Cities Weather Anchor Headed For WBZ-4??

I noted on the front page of News Blues an item that "Minneapolis forecaster may be headed for Boston".

Since I am not a subscriber to Newsblues.com, I don't know whether this means that WBZ-4 may end up hiring a weather anchor now based in Minneapolis/St. Paul to succeed the recently-fired Ed Carroll.

One other note: CBS/Viacom also owns WCCO-4 in the Twin Cities.

Does anyone on this list subscribe to Newsblues.com?? And if you do subscribe to Newsblues, could you let me know if they reported the name of the Minneapolis weathercaster who might be coming here to Boston, and if indeed he/she might be coming to WBZ??

Thanks for your assistance and cooperation.

Joseph,

Most of the 'exclusive' news sites simply cut-and-past newspaper headlines. A simple Google News search turned this up...

According to the article, Ken Barlow works at KARE-Ch. 11 as their meteorologist. This scenario is entirely plausible. Viacom brought Paul Magers from KARE to KCBS/Los Angeles. This allowed the LA station to get a new anchor and for WCCO in Minneapolis to gain some advantage in their departing anchor.

I am getting the feeling that WBZ TV 4 has no idea what it is doing.
Mish Michaels is fine. I believe she even has her PhD. in Meteorology or related subjects.
I also like Ed Carroll. What the heck was wrong with him.
Right now, WCVB Channel 5 has the best meteoroligist team in the city. They all have a very high degree of credibility. First rate !

Oh no! Not Ken Barlow! "If Tom Hoyt can do weather, so can I!"

Ok, probably a different Ken Barlow.

(If you weren't from Claremont area of NH you wouldn't get it.)
