i've noticed some questionable (at best) hiring at the twister. are they just hiring warm bodies until the shoe drops or is this really the long term plan for this signal?

I think Jeremy does a great job. He's as good as Cody Allen, in my opinion.
I like listening to Lori Lee when she was doing weekends on the Wolf, she's bubbly and pleasant, but doesn't have the chops to cut it at night in Dallas. She was a good part timer. That's about it.

The morning show is weak. Other than that I think the signal is the reason the don't make a better showing.

You're right about the signal, a station won't be that good on a weak signal!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Memories 96.7 get about a 2.4 rating? That would be almost double the Twister's numbers.
Sure, it's not a great signal, but if there was compelling programming the ears would follow.

Just warm bodies. Once Farid & Company take over there will be
changes. Expect to see former KLUV GM Dave Siebert back in town.

I think Scott Gaines who just recently left the Twister was excellent for the format and as a jock. I know he jumped ship and he is sailing there at 103.7 LITE with a better player station and better chances to improve his career. Peck has a great show too, but the station is it's own worst enemy and Jeremy is a solid jock and setting the bar with Cody Allen sounding the best in country radio... I DO NOT see that at all.
To me, the station sounds good, musically in touch and well produced. Biggest issue is it cant carve out a market big enough to make a difference with its signal. waste as a flanker.
