No, KLBJ just does not have a good signal...its 5KW and the conductivity iirc in that area is NOT the best in the world....now if they were on the Gulf Coast, they would cover like a bear.....of course at night, the pattern is not looking toward Waco, etc and its down to 1KW.....
(Bruce, quit the HD bitching and blaming everything on HD.....It will die a slow death on the AM band.....but whining about it every message is getting OLD real quick.....NO, I am not a fan of it either on the AM band; the jury is still out on the FM band as far as Im concerned)...

I think that was in the 1996-97 interim between the post-All News KEWS and the swap with KOOO/KGBS-1190 when 94.9 became KWRD.

Right you are. Someone else asked "how is this possible?"...it's very easy. Last year I saw Tim Ryan on Fox 4's Good Day laughing about a billboard on Central Expressway that had been taken down to what was likely it's first sign: a big "News 4 Texas" billboard - complete with the old logo. If the billboard companies just keep piling on more signs over what's there, you'll see the old ones when they strip the other ones off.

What are some good/listenable stations that I should be able to pick up in Waco? I am sick of Glenn Beck, etc. Please help! lol.
