Twitter To Litter Weather Channel

Aaaaacccccckkkk....no, not the use of, you know, modern technology. We can't have that. ;D
 
The thread title is a bit misleading. What you'll see is twitter integration into their website. While annoying, its not as bad as if you'd see it on the actual TV network.

And, there is already Facebook integration into their website, as you use that to comment on any of the stories at weather.com.
 
WXIA 11 Atlanta does this on their 7PM newscast and I hate it. I want to see the news
not what some nit-wit thinks about the news. Dumb idea IMO.

Good one! Pitch it to the competition. They could run ads on their network claiming that's not what they do because you want to see the news not just what someone thinks of the news...

Odd enough, I'm actually from Canada, myself, so I get the Weather network instead. Very similar concept and they don't add movies to their programming schedule. People still like being informed about weather...
