Two 10 year anniversaries

The end of January marked the 10th anniversary of the launch of The Talk of Connecticut on WDRC 1360/WSNG 610/WWCO 1240/WMMW 1470. Prior to flipping to all-talk the quadricast was running a music format called "The Best of Everything", which had replaced their previous Adult Standards Format. I wish "The Best of Everything" was still on. Of course if Buckley wanted to they could put "The Best of Everything" on 102.9 HD4. HD-2 is Classic Oldies and HD-3 is "The Talk of Connecticut."

This month will mark 10 years since WHCN became "The River 105.9". The River sounds much better today than it did when it first launched especially since dropping John Tesh.

Isn't the 10th anniversary of The Jay Clark Show coming up pretty soon?

No Ron. It was 10 years ago this month that I began my two and a half year involvement with WNTY. (April will be 9 years that WNTY became WXCT). The Jay Clark show didn't come on the air until June 2004.

And Ron - off topic my mom enjoys watching some of ME-TV programming on WSAH TV.
