Wow--they have been back on the air for a couple days now, and NO posts about how they suck or how the production elements blow, or how they are going to take over the morning ratings war, or how they make Tim Lewis sound like a tired dog--I'm shocked. All that speculation and then nothing when they actually hit the air.

I think the Angries sound great. It is very nice to have them back on the air.

Production elements are slightly better though still could be much much better, especially for FM. Angry Guys are the Angry Guys, though if I was PD there I'd have them talk about more than just sports.

what's left to be said? i flipped 96.5 on yesterday morning and thought i was listening to a woman for about 15 seconds (seriously) before i realized it was skinner. it's the same old dance: no timing between the two, talking over each other, poor humor, bitterness, bad vibes, etc. no thanks.

Any bets on when 96.5 flips to all sports? I say it will flip in six months.

What all-sports network is available besides Sporting News Radio? I was shocked that 1450 WMOH did not pick them up when they were forced to give up ESPN.

I'm glad to hear the 2AG's back on the air. Tom and Richard are 100x better than the Big Dog over on 1530.

I never really cared for Skinner solo over on 1530 after Gamble moved onto SportsTalk, but after listening to bits and pieces of Skinner solo from 9a-10a this week, I've realized how much more enjoyable even Skinner by himself than the Big Dog.

The 2AG's aren't perfect, but to me, they're a welcomed alternative for my morning commute to work.

I'd take that bet...loser walks naked down Montgomery Road during Cunningham's shift...how could anyone hope to tackle the sports audience in this town without a single, viable sports franchise to put on the air. I think the Bengals, Reds, UC, XU, Miami, UK and U of L are all locked up with CC. That leaves what--the Buckeyes? Bowling Green? Ball State?

Wow, give me a magnet schedule for my fridge so I don't miss a single minute.

The bet I would make is that Cumeless is also Clueless what to do next. They don't understand a talk audience...Fergawd's sake they are using AC jingles on a talk station. The current powers-that-be don't even have an ACCOUNT for the cluephone to get the call to understand male minds--they are lobbing velvet at a flannel audience.

Did I say velvet?

I meant velour

Those are considered AC jingles?  With the guitar riffs and Nirvana rip-off sound?  I guess I'm too old.

Why would they go sports when they just put Dennis Miller on?

Where's the Christmas music?

Why would they have to understand the male mind anyway? Glenn Beck and Dave Ramsey have sizeable female listenership. I would imagine O'Reilly does too and Miller probably will. It's not a male station.

Miami isn't locked up with CC as Football is on 96.5, and basketball and (i think) some hockey games are on the schedule.
