OGL and TDY's HD2's have been OTA all week, the other subs are on the signals, so its not a technical issue. Will TDY come back as a full blown Alternative, OGL just changed to Vinyl Tap last month, so I don't think they will change, but you never know.

They're not off the air... just pumping out dead air.
 
I was referring to the HD2, not the main signal, which is pretty much committed. If they can run that waste of space, Ihearphilly on the 3, then I think an alternative to 1045 would fit nice on the HD2, a little more risky and not so soccer mom safe.

WTDY-HD2 cumed only 9,200 in the latest month of the Philly 6+ ratings, so I doubt it would make any difference.

That being said WTDY is owned by Entercom. WRFF is owned by iHeart. So Entercom wouldn't mind if WTDY-HD2 took any of WRFF's listeners away.

WTDY-HD2 was back on today. Still same lower volume. Still the same occasional "Acoustic Sunrise" liner saying "Today's 96.5"

I honestly wonder if they are just recycling a playlist or pre-recorded file, since there are no song titles popping up on my HD screen, and I hear the same few odd titles over and over, (but never pay attention enough to remember if it's the same song after it)
 
Yep, back to full volume, they are throwing in some newer cuts so they must be at the computer a few times a week. It might be an in-house operation but I wish they add title and artist on the readout.

Maybe they REALLY do read this board, walla, title and artist and a strong liner now saying Philadelphias New Alternative..whats next, album art, breaking alternative new artists, old punk, rock of the 80's all wrapped up in one station. Possibilities are endless on an HD2.

I remember when 96.5-HD2 was dance for years. From 2012-2017 they had the same playlist, because they didn't update it at all.
