Two FM transmitters

I have a couple of decommissioned transmitters I need to sell. A B-E FM 3.5 and a CCA FM 8000. Both for $500 or $250 each. Or, make me an offer. They both worked but were replaced with Elenos 5000 watters. Some spare parts and tubes come along. Make me an offer! I am in Manitowoc, WI.CCA FM 8000 2_105853.jpgBE FM 3.5105808.jpg

I don't see how to edit my post above so I'll do it here. Lowered the price to $99 each. They have to go...

Free. No cost to any one
Come and get 'em
One, the other... or both. They are in my way.

Details? Sounds interesting, and I'm interested... History on this? Is it for FM? AM? LPFM? .. What about getting it licensed? .. or is the power output adjustable (even to very low?) ... What is an optimal Antenna? Or is a Ground Plane setup ok ? ... Thx in advance

I have an even better deal... I have 2 - QEI 10kw FM transmitters, model FMQ 10,000. Both units approximately 27 years old and use one triode tube. The price is right - Zero! Located in Western Washington state, near the coast. U-haul. Both transmitters worked when taken out of service but likely need some restoration at this point, or use for parts. If you want one (or two) make arrangements to pick 'em up before they go to the scrap metal place. If you don't know what they are, look it up. And no, we won't ship, you're on your own. One unit is near Raymond, WA, the other near Montesano, WA. Contact me - Bill Wolfenbarger 360-581-3638. If you're not sure what these units are, I'm not sure you need to bother asking.

I'd really like to talk with you about both of these transmitters. Can you please PM me and I'll get contact info to you. I have a client who needs these desperately.

So far, no followup from a couple of early lookers. Come and get 'em!

I'll be working on doing just that! I will either need to drive up and rent a U-Haul to drive them back or, possibly a trailer that I pull up to load them into? May I please inquire into how difficult moving and loading them might be? (I'm familiar with the transmitters. What I'm wondering about is more to the effect of whether or not we need to bring them down stairs or through very narrow doors or across swampy ground or something to that effect.)

If you decide instead to Ship it, Sure 🎁🍀(Just Ask a Logistics Company to Calculate the Shipping & Handling Cost ~ Including Packing & Materials ~ To Be Paid In Full - They Can Pack It & Transport it for you - if you didn't want to do the extra work) ... Well That Option would be cheaper 💲 than me driving from the opposite corner of the country, going 1000s of miles from the East Coast ... With Added Rental U-hawl Storage - Then Turn Around & Do it Again ... 😂🤷‍♂️😅 Otherwise My 25 watt Adjustable Chinese Marvel For $250 Still Gets The Job Done 📻 And Hey ... At Least Forest Gump Had Alot More Fun Before AND After Going That Far ... Alone ... Once Upon A Time. 🤪📻

Nice Ebay Auction - Someone Selling This Exact Item - Asking About $750 Plus About $250 Shipping - From The Vicinity of North Seattle Metro ~ Everett WA

No stairs and a wide enough door. More tomorrow, time permitting.

I thought you must be joking. You can't use these at a LPFM. They are for use at a full power Class A licensed FM.

You can't use a foreign transmitter that is not type certified on an LPFM. And, it must be type verified for a translator or Class D FM. Are you with a licensed station?

Michi has a COMPLETE list of FCC certified transmitters for LPFM....
Her #1 caveat ---- STAY FAR AWAY FROM CHINESE JUNK!!
Some of these crapola rigs will tell you they're "FCC Approved" or some other way to circumvent the key word "CERTIFIED"
NONE have the endorsement of the FCC!!
Stay clear of trouble --- go with a transmitter that REALLY IS FCC CERTIFIED!!

I Guess Maybe they can easily upgrade it to be at least to within a "Standard" and not of "Subpar" Quality ... Or what would make it as Such ... As a Fully operatiaonal Unit ... Better Than What it is? Whats the criteria? ... I Guess ... "🇨🇳" isn't capable of a "Superior Quality" as a more Expensive or Domestic Product / Model ... ?? Here's a good example of that ... Recently Upgraded to/by local station ... WGYT 92.1 in Greer SC 📻
