Two Houston area translators sold

Per Radio Insight, K217DP 91.3 Barker goes to Centro Christiana de Vida Eterna. The station is currently silent, and will change to a yet-to-be-determined new frequency.

K217DJ 91.3 Kemah goes to The Raftt Corporation, and will rebroadcast a subchannel of KBXX (which didn't have any additional HD subchannels last time I checked.)

I recall that both supposedly ran South Asian programming years ago. The Barker station has been off for quite some time; no idea of what's been going on with the Kemah translator recently.

Elsewhere, on the LPFM front: We're in the latter stages of resolving mutually exclusive applications for a number of states including Texas, which involves a number of potential stations modifying their applications to include a frequency change. Perhaps by the end of Spring we'll know who is really on the way and who is toast...and where the new stations will be on the Houston FM band.
