Two in-market AC stations playing Delilah?

While on the Gulf Coast this weekend, I discovered that WMEZ and WMXC in the Mobile-Pensacola area both play Delilah. WMEZ is targeted to Pensacola, while WMXC is targeted to Mobile, but for all intents and purposes, they're in the same market. I'm just wondering how both stations are able to carry Delilah.

As an added bonus, WMJY Biloxi carries it too, so I heard the same show on three stations. What I wonderful life. *sarcasm*
 
The same thing happened to a station I was programming. We had Delilah and they signed up another station that was 50 miles away. We were both 50,000 FMs and covered a lot of the same ground.
 
Years ago KUDL Kansas City and KMAJ Topeka KS would air Deliah at the same time. Topeka is only 1 hour away from Kansas City and KMAJ signal could reach the west and south parts of the city back in the late 90's and 2000's. KMAJ moved its tower a few years back so Im not sure if you can hear it in Kansas City anymore. KUDL dropped Deliah a few months before the flip to KMBZ
 
WJXA-Nashville and WHOP-FM Hopkinsville, KY, both carry Delilah, and they are only about an hour or so apart from each other. At least Lite 98.7 (the Hoptown station) breaks away from Delilah on Saturday evenings for the Saturday night Rewind.
