Two more groups to join Audacy app

Urban One now joins the Audacy app under its streaming deal.

About a week before the placeholders for Cumulus were added, I noticed Cincinnati appearing on the app. I initially thought it might mean Urban One or Hubbard, but, after Cumulus placeholders appeared, I just figured it was the first of the Cumulus markets. Turns out, I should’ve stuck to my original guns!

Here is more. This is similar to how we seen things on TV at one point where Hulu carried content not just from Disney but also Fox and NBC initially. However Hulu became a part of Disney once took over 20th Century studios from Fox then Disney got majority control of Hulu.

Also NewsOn started out as a joint venture carrying content from Gray, Nexstar, Sinclair, Raycom, ABC and Hearst. However the nexstar content was removed from Newson app and Raycom was taken over by Gray television. Later Cox and Tegna came and got an agreement to air on NewsOn app. ABC moved their content to their own apps. I seen this before on the TV side.
