Two N.O. radio stations still on low power

Maybe it's been mentioned here before and if I completely missed it, I'm sorry for repeating. What's the deal with 101.1 WNOE and 105.3 WWL-FM still broadcasting on low power?

I took a ride to Baton Rouge a few days back and could barely pick them up near Gramercy on I-10. And around NOLA at night, their signals are even worse. When will they be restored to full power?

Word out on the street is the antennas took a hit during our ice/snow storm in December and between delays for parts, etc etc.

WRNO is operating at low power at the WYLD backup site... as the main antenna is a special combiner antenna setup from what I understand.

WNOE is operating at 10kw from the main tower site and WWL is apparently operating at lower power from the same site also

As of last night you can take two off the list, WWL-FM was heard by me this morning around the Butte LaRose exit on the Atchafalaya Thruway, and an e-mail let me know that WRNO is back on full power, my friend heard it loud and clear in Baton Rouge. The one I used to pick up in Lafayette was KYRK, but I have been having problems hearing it lately.
 
The one I have problems with the most is the one where I work. I hardly can pick it up outside the studio where it's being broadcasted from. That's right, the studio is in Slidell, and the stick is in downtown N.O.! ;D ;D ;D

He had a crap antenna he replaced with a newer, crappier antenna. Price isn't always the best way to buy.

I remember reading he was getting a Jampro HPCP antenna, if so thats a decent antenna that many major market rimshot stations use.

He didn't. Jampro blew the deal and he was so pissed he bought a cheap imitation with no range test. You can make one antenna look like another, but they won't perform the same.
 
Saturday morning, I was on my way into work and picked up WRNO, WWL-105.3 (with RDS), and WDVW (with RDS) on the west side of Houston.
