!. Are Alfredo Najera from Recuerdo and Beto Najera from Mega related?

2. Why do I hear Recuerdo playing newer music than what it is supposed to play. I thought Recuerdo had to play spanish oldies. Why do I hear them playing Intocable newer songs, like the one from last year of Mojado or Pilar Montenegro songs?

Jesus Christ!!!!!! Do you even listen to anything that David E (or anyone else around here) says? For the last time, Recuerdo is not a Spanish Oldies station. Does a term Spanish Adult hits ring a bell? I guess it doesn't

Yes, both are humans.

Because Recuerdo is not an oldies station.

Forgive the casual listener if they think Recuerdo is an oldies station just because it's name means ''a memory, recollection, memento or souvenir.'' The format has evolved but keeps the oldies sounding name.

The casual listener who is still confused after all this time????? Common, give me a break, this station has been Spanish Adult Hits for a long time now. Anyone who can't firgure out the format by now is mighty stupid.

The same case can be said about Estereo Latino. That name doesn't sound Regional Mexican to me at all. Sounds more like a Tropical or Salsa station. Yet, you don't see anyone confusing the format, do you?

You're talking like a radio guy not a listener.

Ask 100 listeners of Bob or Jack to describe what they're listening to and I doubt that even one person will say ''Adult Hits.'' Most will say something along the lines of ''They play whatever they want (their slogan) but I hear more oldies than anything else.''

ok let me state first that i dont listen to recuerdo much at all, except when im in the studio working on something, but for someone like me who actually works there, i thought recuerdo was an oldies station. LOL!
change the name! if it confuses me, i wonder how many others are confused LOL.

NewsFlash! I'm a listener. Have 0 (Zero, Nada, Nothing) Experience in Radio. Just an old listener that knows a tad bit more than the usual listener for some odd reason. (and let us add that my spanish is just as good as Arnold Schwarzenegger's, and even I know the format)

You're right, a daily listener of Recuerdo will probably not tell you that it is a Spanish Adult Hits station, but I know damn well they won't tell you it is a Oldies station either.

Besides, we're talking about a guy who (more than likely) visits the boards frequently, and yet, he still doesn't know the correct format of Recuerdo? We've been over this several times. You gots to be fuc**** kidding me. Oh, and let's not forget, he claims to know "Regional" music!
