Two Rhythmics?....Same Owner?...Yes, even in Albuquerque!!!

Yet a city like Boston only has one half assed Rhythmic, Jam'n 94.5. Makes a whole lotta sense right?

Well, if you're living in a radio market where Clear Channel owns both a Top 40/CHR and a Top 40/Rhythmic in the same cluster, the answer is yes. Just ask the folks in Seattle, Portland (Oregon), Tucson, and Huntington (West Virginia).

You just hit the nail on the head. Clear Channel has a monopoly on those two formats in our market. They own Rhythmic Jam'n 94.5 WJMN, and CHR Kiss 108 WXKS. The other radio companies in our market, such as Citadel, Entercom, and even CBS don't even seem like the type to program a Rhythmic. So we're stuck with two half ass stations that just get by default. If someone were to go after the two of them they could make HUGE bank. But it's yet to happen.
