1. A nice tribute this morning by KNIX at 9:40. They ran a 2-minute bio of Buck Owens, voiced by Steve Goddard, which ended with a clip of Buck telling a concert audience "It takes people like you to make people like me". The 40 songs in a row segment started with Act Naturally. Let's face it, that was the most appropriate way for KNIX to deal with it without sending their core audience scrambling.

2. KFYI's response to morning to midnight traffic at KTAR? A promo touting East Side West Side Traffic. Great. C'mon Laurie, that the best you can do?

We knew it was just a marketing gimmick when we heard Dewey Hopper on KT'R!

3. Gotta give the Chickboss her props for making KFYI's coverage of last Friday's march sound bigger and better than it was. Nurse Jeff and I wonder why the Men In Secret Underwear didn't make more of their coverage which was Live, Local and First. They resoundly trashed KFYI, but don't realize it. Hmmmmmmm.
