Two weeks for this?...

ROCK 100.5 just got their website up two weeks after being on the air and it is unimpressive to say the least.

Not only that, a few days after being on the air, they were directing people to log onto their website (claiming it was "Atlantas source for everything rock"). The only problem was that it wasn't even up... yeah, that's smart, Cume-less...

some people will complain about anything. 3 words - "THE REGULAR GUYS" - I don't give a rats a$$ about the station's web site - I care about the station's programming! Give them a break!

When TRG go off the air for the 3rd time (which will be sooner than later), please cast a statue out of gold and perch it atop the tallest building in Atlanta for everyone to see.

You would think the return of TRG was the second coming of Christ. Get a life people... they are just a couple of rednecks talking about BS all morning long.

I guess crap radio does work...

If your name is true and you are actually in Atlanta radio, I would seriously question your appraisal. Personally, I was never a regular listener of TRG in that I didn't enjoy the content. However, those guys are insanely talented. The chemistry is fantastic, even after being off the perch for quite a while. And the most impressive thing about them is their timing. It's almost perfect, and, as we all know, timing is everything.

And I wouldn't really go as far as calling Larry (the Jew) a redneck. Now, if you wanted to hang that moniker on SSS, it would probably be valid, but they execute a very good show. And I can say that even though I'm not really a fan of the content.

And remember, they were off the air the last two times because of 2 bits gone bad, not because no one was listening. And I know womeone is going to talk about ratings drop, but is wasn't super drastic. And in honor of Rodney, I will note that American Idol ratings are down this year, but they are still puilling 30 million viewers. You know how many people would kick somebody in the teeth for 30 million viewers? the answer is... all of them. Much like I think a lot of morning shows will be in Atlanta in the next couple of books. As bad as the landscape is right now (other than Bert), they are going to end up doing very well.

:D [EDIT] Since we all know the 2nd coming of Christ is a bunch of hogwash, I'll take TRG as my personal saviour. [EDIT] actually, what station do you listen to in the morning? Maybe TRG aren't your bag, but it sure beats just about anything else going on. Nothing more than that chimpy.

[EDIT-inflammatory]

Like I said in another post, I wasn't in Atlanta radio when TRG were on the air the first two times but I tried my best to listen and give them a chance this time and it was brutal.

I am the kind of person that likes listening to talk in the morning but TRG make me push my other preset button to listen to music instead.

Obviously TRG are a touchy subject when it comes to Atlanta radio... I will let them be and let their ratings speak for them (whether their ratings are good or bad...)

So, you don't like listening to The Regular Guys, and you don't like the 100.5 site. Thank you for your comments, and please feel free to enjoy any of the other radio stations in Atlanta.

To borrow a line from Neal Boortz, there are two knobs (or their modern day equivalents) on every radio that will take care of your TRG problem.

It's all about the Benjamins. Either they will be forthcoming, or they won't.

This is absolutely insane criticism. The person making it is just looking for a reason to denigrate something they wish they were a part of.

As if there IS an impressive radio station website in the entire US. The future of radio/internet is closer, but it's not here yet. The best and brightest in TV/radio haven't quite figured out how to monetize their content on the web, so how in the world is one station going to reinvent the dynamic in 2 weeks? As with a radio show itself, a website needs time to develop, even if the goal is the status quo.

i think i am going to start a thread so i can b1tch about how much i hate v103 and the music they play.and they have a awful website too.oh wait i dont listen to the vee so why am i complaining?

boortz is right there is several buttons on your radio that will solve your problem.
it is so funny that the regulr guys and us rednecks cause others so much pain and discomfort just because we have a radio station that we like to listen to.some people need to get a life or something.
