TWR Bonaire?

Possibly Bonaire dominating 800 tonight for a few minutes at 8:45pm Houston time (~20 mins after sunset), played a smooth jazz instrumental followed by a 40's-sounding vocal. Signal faded down just in time for announcements in Spanish by female then by male. Couldn't make out much but did hear reference to La Biblia. Would this be TWR? I have not checked this frequency much due to splatter from local 790 - I know Bonaire is directional toward Cuba, but it is heard regularly westward?

Their website:

http://www.twrbonaire.com/

It has a downloadable PDF schedule, and apparently they have several patterns. At the time you were listening, they were running 440 KW to the north, and if I adjusted correctly for Atlantic Standard Time, the program was La Voz Alegre (The Cheerful Voice?).

The 440 kw TWR Cuban array is aimed at an arc that has the most power between Dallas and Atlanta, but Houston is only a few degrees off the main lobe, so reception is going to be very good still.

Is TWR playing secular music (smooth jazz, '40s-style pop)? I thought it was a strictly a teach-and-preach operation, with Christian music played on occasion. Does it have regular programs of a non-religious nature?

I've listened off their co-located SDR and no secular music, but I've heard some pretty up-tempo CCM and Spanish language music. A far cry from the staid fire and brimstone preaching of yesteryear.
