He was there 12 years and might have been there longer, but while he was playing Sinatra and Ellington according to the obit, the station changed to what some sources have described as Top 40. Whether it was really AC or not, the station was AC a few years later. And he was not happy. I have read he cursed like a sailor to his superiors when the change happened.

I think Bob Lacey ("Bob and Sheri") succeeded him.

Later he was on WBTV's noon news program and then he was a motivational speaker.
