By virtue of an Order of Sale issued out of the Honorable 114th Judicial District Court of SMITH County on the 8th day of March, 2006 by the Clerk thereof, in the case of


SMITH COUNTY VS.
COMMUNITY BROADCAST GROUP, INC.


Cause #20,758-B and to me, as SHERIFF directed and delivered, I will proceed to sell, at 10:00 OCLOCK A.M. on the 4TH DAY OF APRIL, 2006 which is the first Tuesday of said month, at the WEST door of the Courthouse of said SMITH County, in the City of TYLER, Texas, the following described property, to wit:

Tract 2: Being 17.557 acres, more or less, a part of the Hezekiah George survey, abstract 367, Smith County, Texas and being the property described in that certain warranty deed recorded at volume 3408, page 343, deed records of Smith County, Texas, and being the same property described on the tax rolls and records of the Smith County Tax Office under account number 1-00000-0367-01-018020.

Levied on the 8th day of March, 2006 as the property of

to satisfy a judgment amounting to $7,096.87, representing delinquent taxes, penalties, interest, and attorney’s fees through the date of judgment, plus all costs of court, costs of sale, and post judgment penalties and interest recoverable by law in favor of SMITH COUNTY.

The old KZEY studio/Transmitter site is the only smith county property owned by Community Broadcast group. Jerry Russell owns other land and property in Smith county, but none under the radio company's name.

This property was used as the studio site for KROZ back in the day.


Sad to say, I am not surprised.

KZEY operates out of Downtown Tyler now....Regions Bank Building, I presume, since that is where JR's office is located. However, the KZEY transmitter is still located there.

Does anybody know where to find Russell? I've had a process server looking for him in and around Tyler for the better part of two months. They cannot find him.

My friends, I do think that Jerry Russell is trying his very hardest in pulling a Saddam Hussein on us. You know, dig himself a hole and hide from the enemy hoping that no one will find him. YEAH RIGHT!!! Just wait until the authorities find him. I can only imagine that when there's a news conference on KLTV in which a law enforcemnet member will say to the press, "Ladies and gentlemen....we got him!" And everyone cheers!

But seriously, Larry, have you check up on another small town in Smith County called New Chapel Hill? It's the next town east of Tyler. Perhaps you can locate him there. I remember him metioning something that he lives within that vacinity(sp?) unless he moved somewhere and secluded himself away from the people whom he made enemies with. I don't know exactly WHERE he lives, but with that area, it may be your best bet.<P ID="signature">______________
