Tyler KLTV Mark Scirto

Still nothing more than cryyptic references to the situatiom on Tuesday night's 10PM newscast. E-mails apparently have inundatged the station wishing Scirto a speedy recovery, with the major point of the story seeming to be that a news co-anchor stfessed that she visited with him today in the ICU.

Until more relevant news comes to the fore. ditto on the good thoughts of all for Mark Scitto's fast and complete recovery.

My prayers and thoughts are with him and his family. Mark is good guy and he is adored by most ET TV viewers. I enjoyed working with him very much, at KLTV. I certainly wish him a full recovery. If anyone knows anymore details, please post them when you can. I'm going to try to e-mail Clint Yeatts and see if he can give me some info.

Supposedly he is at home recovering and is doing better. Still not sure what caused the issue or what really happened. Also, I do not know a timetable for his return, but it sounds like everything is ok, which is good news.

Mark Scirto rejoined the news operation at 6 this evening. His emergency surgery was apparently made necessary by a benign brain tumor above one eye, according to him. He appeared rested and refreshed and truly excited to return to the air. Hope the surgery spells the end of the episode.
