Any UCONN basketball fans on this board? I've been listening to both men's and women's games over the holidays, and I'm hoping that WICC just had someone filling in as board op, because I have to say, they have sounded SO bad! At nearly every commercial break, either the commercials and station ID would go over the WTIC announcers when they came back on, the commercials would start late, or commercials would never even be put on, leaving 60 seconds of dead air. There are also instances where they give a "10 second break for station ID" and a commercial would come on, thus having to be cut off or played over the announcers. I've also heard two commercials play simultaneously. Just an overall bad job by whoever has been doing this. I don't imagine it's that difficult to pay attention to the broadcast and press a few buttons, since they even give the amount of time they will cut away. Sorry, just had to get that off my chest...GO UCONN!!!
