UD vs. WSU Radio Coverage

With all the talk in Dayton about the percentage of newspaper coverage towards our two basketball programs, what about the radio coverage?

I noticed that Wright State now has a post game call-in show like the Flyers, in addition to the coaches show during the week.

UD (1290, 95.7)
Larry Hansgen, Bucky Bockhorn (sp?), Mark Adams does post game

WSU (980, 1340)
Chris Collins, various color guys, Scott Lee (?) hosts call-in show

Who is the best?

Let the debate begin!!!

I'm bigger Buckeyes fan than either of our "hometown" teams, but both broadcast teams here are very good. We're lucky because I've heard some of the out-of-towners on Sirius, YUCK!

I like Scott's Raider Feedback show better than "Coach" Adams for UD. Adams is a screamer and clearly all about himself.

Chris Collins is an excellent play-by-play guy for the WSU games. The postgame guy is Scott Leo. Scott also does some play-by-play work in minor league baseball -- he was in Richmond, IN but I think he does Columbus Clippers games now -- and also the WONE GWOC high school football coverage.

There is a constant pimping of all things UD that goes on across all of the Cox media outlets, but that's to be expected (sorta like Dispatch Broadcast Group and OSU in Columbus).

This is interesting, I heard Steve Kerrigan doing the Flyers Pre-Game Show with a woman (Nancy was her name, I believe).

I know Kerrigan is a UD grad because I remember hearing him at TUE talking about his days at WVUD.

Nancy Wilson and Kerrigan do the morning show at K 99.
