UGA games on XM Satellite Radio

Old news, announced weeks ago (March 6!) by the SEC. The story was revived by UGA Athletics decision to send out a press release on an otherwise slow news day. The AJC picked up the release and ran with it. WSB will continue as the flagship for the Dawgs. The SEC/XM deal has no effect on WSB's six decades with UGA Sports.

I am not sure if I am alone but I switched from Sirius to XM for that reason alone since I am going to be moving out of the area soon.

Did you breeze over this paragraph mid-article?

"UGA's satellite radio deal will have no effect on the traditional Georgia Radio Network, including flagship station WSB 750 AM, which will continue to carry all Bulldogs football and men's basketball games."

The original 7/6 version of the story did not mention WSB. The story was updated and expanded for print publication 7/7.

BTW, Georgia Tech has been on XM for two years now...
