Uh Oh EAS911 Question

Hi
I have 3 EAS911s here and they are tied into my SS32 to automatically fire local EAS tests. The system works great unless there is a received EAS that has not been cleared by pressing the "MSG WAITING" button. If there is a message in the buffer the EAS911 will not activate when receiving the signal from the SS32 through the 941A interface. I don't recall having this issue with 911s I had years ago, using the same setup. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

We had the same problem. The solution was to wire another contact on the automation to the input on the 941A that resets the Msg Waiting light. We then used two commands in the playlist a couple seconds apart. The first would turn off the Msg Waiting light and the second would run the RWT. Worked real well.

Thanks FLTec
I was hoping there was another solution, instead of having to make a work around. Thanks for the reply though:)
