This was your 2pm hour today. Besides the fact that there are several songs in this hour you have NO BUSINESS PLAYING, being a RHYTHMIC CHR, I ask just one question:

That wasn't an UNEDITED copy of the Lil' Kim song that was aired, complete with the words f*ck, s*it, b*tch, and others in it.... was it?

Hope nobody caught that on tape..

To that I'd ask: "If a tree falls in the forest and there's no one to hear it...does it make a noise"?

To paraphrase: "If a radio station plays an un-edited version of a song and there's no audience to hear it...do they still make any noise"?

'Nuff sed.

Re: "Tired"?

Maybe they played the unedited version to generate buzz in the market.

Wired just smashed past the "high road barrier" on this one.

If the FCC fine can't be paid, maybe we're looking at a format flip.

How about Y-96.5 instead?<P ID="signature">______________

Listeners who like profanity in music won't complain. In fact they call and request the unedited versions. At least they did in '86 when I was in radio.
In '81 (I think)...the Stones song Start me up..lyrics were aired on an Album rock station I was at in VA..(the end sings "She makes a dead man come.")
went unnoticed. Burkhard Abrams was consulting back then.

Our GM didn't like it but the owner told him this was the language of the day so to speak...LOL.. Oh that owner was Mel Wheeler..out of Denton TX.
