UK-HARDCORE (Rave) ON ANY AIRWAVES IN THE USA?

DJ @ KSBR FM-88.5 (Smooth Jazz) [Saddleback College, Mission Viejo (Orange County), California]

I've been spinning a House & Electro Mixshow for a few months now > But my real passion is UK-Hardcore.

Lucky for me - we also have a general Underground Dance show on the station and I've been able to get my kicks out on it.

Was wondering if anyone knows any other stations (College/Mainstream) here in the USA pumping out the Harder genres.

Definitely not the UK Hardcore Rave stuff.

You MAY luck out with dubstep (though I think of that genre more as "modern rock" than I do dance) since that is taking off in this country. But aside for shows that deal with house, electro and freestyle, very few get wayyy too edgy. Which is a shame since college radio should be that "breaking ground" somehow.

Aw darn.

Well, I'm not really a huge fan of the Dubstep that's out there right now - I'm waiting for Vocal Dubstep & MetalStep to come in full force from the UK.

Guess I'm just lucky, There needs to be more stations willing to take a chance on the harder genres.

For some good Hardstyle check out Sweden's net-only Hardstlye station
http://hardstyle.nu/ HARDSTYLE.NU Hardstyle http://listen.hardstyle.nu/listen.pls 128 K

Another excellent option is the Q-Dance radio station from Holland
http://www.q-dance.nl/q/page/radio Q-DANCE Hardstyle http://radio.q-dance.nl/ 128 K

Or Germany's Hardbase FM
http://www.hardbase.fm/ HARDBASE.FM Hard Style http://listen.hardbase.fm/aacplus.pls 32 K AAC

For some good Dubstep check out the UK's Sub FM
http://www.sub.fm/ SUB FM Dubstep/Drum N Bass http://www.sub.fm/listen.pls 192K

Finally, you can find decent Hardcore, Hardstyle, Hard Dance, Dubstep, even Gabber, and all forms of Electronica over at di.fm

Surge Radio ( www.surgeradio.org ) does a Hardstyle/Hardcore/Drum & Bass/Dubstep format at night on Sundays/Tuesdays/Thursdays from 9pm-6am. Then does Trance/House/Electro on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays 9pm-6am. During the daytime it's mainly Dance Hits, and weekends it's mainly House or Drum & Bass mix shows as well as a Saturday morning Chill format (6am-11am).

I was hoping for some AM/FM answers, but Always appreciate new sources of music!
^_^

There used to be a station back in the day Pulse 1330/KENU Enumclaw, WA which was a blend of Trance, Hardcore, Hardstyle, House, Drum & Bass, Jungle, and Downtempo. They went off the air in September 2006, I'll never forget that one, that was the greatest station ever. I've never found a station that has come close to The Pulse.
