Unattended IHEART AM's

At 5:30pm this past Sunday, 740AM was running the Ben Mauer & Tom Looney show off FOX Sports ... suddenly the audio feed "doubled", then "tripled" ... and so on - as if someone opened a mic near a live speaker ... within about 3 minutes it just a blur of audio. I checked back later around 8:00pm and it still was just mash of overridden audio.

Amazing while swapping through AM on Monday afternoon at 5:30pm, I found 540AM to have dead air for at least 3 minutes ... It was back next time I checked at 5:45pm.

Is anybody awake on that side of the house anymore?

"Is anybody awake on that side of the house anymore? "

Nope. And they just ignore the silence alarm. Probably making their way outside thinking it's the fire alarm.

The Paying Sponsors are the ones who should be concerned...If I Have a Business and I am paying Good Money to Advertise and the Company who owns the radio station I am Advertising On Does Not Care then PROVE to me that my Commercial Announcements ran uninterrupted at the time they were scheduled and that they were not buried under another satellite feed. It's a hell of a way to treat your customers.
