The FCC issues a Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture to an equipment manufacturer for selling unauthorized FM transmitters, ostensibly for pirate use. GIBSON TECH ED of OREM, UT, which was hit with a citation in JUNE 2004 for marketing unauthorized FM transmitters made by VERONICA LTD., is facing a possible $14,000. fine for selling RAMSEY transmitters which have also not been authorized on its HOBBYTRON.COM website.
