Unbalanced RNB

I see on KRNB's website, they are referring themselves as "Smooth R&B 105.7" Heaven help this station.... They are very confused....

It's that r&b you listen to when you want to go to sleep or have sex 24 hours a day.

U gotta be kiddin me, not smooth R&B. I used to enjoy listening to this station back in 2006, 2007, and even part of 2008, but then it seemed like it started going downhill and they just started playing this "smooth R&B" all the time.

Sofly, you know they have a history of doing this crap. They are just like a person with a split personality: "Good KRNB/Bad KRNB". Which one will they be next?.........

What city is that a picture of on their website? Not terribly important, but it doesn't look like Dallas which seems a bit odd for a Dallas station.

It wouldn't suprise me if this station change formats all together, maybe to Smooth Jazz??

Its frustrating, but I don't know what to blame. Is it the current state of R&B or is it trying to position itself against KSOC.

Also KSOC has updated their website. www.thesoulofdfw.com

KRNB needs to do something about their signal, this morning it came in crystal clear over here in Northwest Dallas, now it's off. I imagine the station is still on the air.

The only way that KRNB can upgrade their signal is to move to another signal. I don't think they can get their stick any closer than Decatur.

I was definitely wondering what city that was in the background on their website, Bcuz it sure doesn't look anything like Dallas. Also to bucwhyl, it is like they have a split personality. They're real good at one point, then they're like crap.

Variety, mixshows, and a countdown show. Think about it KRNB...

Looks like NYC. I think that is the Empire State Building on the left.

They changed their website again, it dosen't say "Smooth R&B" anymore it just says "105.7 KRNB". They need to change their format all together, they also can't make up their mind what their slogan is.

I listened to them early this morning, and Tony Mathis said, "Smooth R&B, KRNB", so I guess they are sticking with it. They can be as smooth as they want, but add some damn shows instead of that quietstorm crap seven days a week.

So that's why he's been doing the overnight shift on KRNB for so long and haven't moved. He has another gig. And do anyone in radio ever use their real name?
