Unconfirmed report silent WDTW (AM 1310) heard testing

Update: WDTW just got an extension of their silent STA, in which they stated construction had been delayed by excessive rain. Sounded suspicious, but we certainly have had a ton of rain this year.

I stopped by the TL on the way home from work today - there ARE signs of construction.

I thought I heard a carrier last week on 1310. It didn't stop the scan. It just seemed too quiet compared with the other nearby frequencies. Maybe they rigged up the crank up tower again.
 
Apparently towers are being constructed at the old 1310 site adjacent to I-94 near Allen Park. New format is rumored to be Spanish when it comes on line.
