UNID R&B Station on 1520

Shortly after sundown last evening, from Pittsburgh, PA.
Strong R&B music station on 1520. No sign of WWKB which was strange.
Unless there was a format change that I'm not aware of.

There is a daytimer on 1520 kHz in Warrenton, North Carolina, WARR, that airs an R&B and gospel format. They're licensed for 5 kW day and 1kW critical hours. Perhaps they forgot to power down, if ,indeed it was them at all. Wouldn't be unheard of to hear them in Pittsburgh.

the song I heard was "Flashlight" by Parliament, so more likely WKMG than WARR. Thanks!

While we're on 1520, it's worth noting that WSVX Shelbyville,IN lost a tower last week & is operating non directionally with 1/4 of normal power day & night. It's a hot AC format...I doubt they would have been playing Flashlight, but it's not impossible.

WSVX wouldnt play Flashlight.. They are one of the better sounding Hot ACs and they seem to lean POP CHR... I listen to WSVX sometimes in the car,,, on 1520,, I cant get the 96.5 simulcast until near Franklin
