unID station heard

Been hearing a religous station on 1060 AM. Who is this? ???

PS: Does CKMX Calgary show religious programming on Sundays?

UPDATE: now been hearing KTIX Pendelton on 1240. Heard a brief blip that mentioned ESPN Radio.

now hearing oldies on 840. Who is this?

CKMX doesn't have any religious programming. Just music shows. Including a bluegrass show on Sunday nights.

Now hearing spanish music on 1650 AM. Who is this? It can't be KFOX, with Korean programs, and it can't be KBJD with spanish religous programming.

crain...it would help everyone reading if we knew WHERE you picked these stations up. Your location?

Well, for your Oldies station on 840,, i would have guessed WHAS Louisville, but I dont think they have played music on WHAS for years and years.. They used to do oldies at night, and had kind of a hot ac format during the day. I thought 840 was a clear channel, not used by any other station on that frequency, but im sure its not like that anymore... Plus, Washington is pretty dang far from Kentucky...

I haven't heard any significant amount of music on WHAS in .. well, I can't remember! They come in 24/7 down here.

The NRC Log lists oldies stations in Eugene and Seaside, Oregon on 840. I have a vague recollection of a report that the Seaside station is off the air but don't hold me to that. There's also an 840 station in eastern Washington - listed in the Log as news/talk but I have a vague recollection of it going oldies?

Religion on 1060: most likely KBGN Caldwell (Boise), Idaho. There's also one in Las Vegas.

Spanish music on 1650: no idea. Are you sure the music wasn't religious? (and thus KBJD)

I must have gotten:

840: KKNX Eugene (first logging!)
1060: KBGN Caldwell/Boise

I still don't know what the spanish is on 1650, but it sounded like mexicana ad the next time I checked it was out of sight.

I still don't know the spanish on 1650, but it sounded like mexicana and the ext time I checked it was gone.
