Universal Sports to Convert to Cable/Satellite

I don't know if a topic was started about this, but I'm gonna start it myself.

With Universal Sports dropping multicast outlets (see story here) to go full time on cable & satellite by the start of 2012, what is to become of the affiliates (like KXAS 5.3 in Dallas/Fort Worth)?

NBC is looking to expand its "Nonstop" concept that's now running on the O&O subchannels. I haven't heard any signings yet.

Just last week on TVNewsCheck.com it was noted that KING/5 Seattle and KSKN Spokane will transition to Live Well, breaking the morning of January 1. (CLICK HERE)

With these additions, Belo will have that network running on seven of its stations.

NBC O&O WTVJ in Miami has both NonStop AND USports on their -2 and -3 respectively....does this mean -3 will just vanish?

In L.A., KNBC has California Nonstop on 4.2, and after Universal Sports left OTA TV, 4.4, where US had been, just disappeared. So now 4.1 and 4.2 are the only ones left.

How about 4.3?

If you're speaking of KNBC, they never had a "4.3", although technically the DT4 channels on the NBC O&Os were actually xx.3 (in other words, KNBC's channel 4.4 was in reality 36.3).
