Universal Sports (WCAU 10.3 launch?)/WPHL 17.2 updates?

So, we pretty much now know why WCSN was pulled from channel 17's second programming (NBC Universal having purchased a major stake just in time for upcoming coverage of the Beijing Olympics). So, does anybody know when the new Universal Sports will launch on WCAU's 10.3 channel? The Olympics start this weekend and well, any holdouts and/or announcements for carriage in the Philadelphia area should have been made by now.

On a related note, are there any further developments for what WPHL will carry on 17.2? Considering the digital rollover is practically half a year out, it'd be nice to see something a little more to show for "additional channels" in the area by then. At this time, I feel a little gypped by the lack of extra channels from four of the seven major OTA broadcasters in the area...

I agree. Multicasting has not lived up to its promise. I believe OTA viewers are being marginalized in this digital transition.

I'm hearing that Universal Sports will show up on channel 10.3 on September 1st.

No idea about 17.2 - it was blank for a month and has now switched to an alternating test pattern and MYPHL17 logo. Perhaps whatever is due there will also show up in September.

I'm in Dover, DE and get 17.2 on Verizon FiOS TV. It shows up on 867 as Weather with the program description "Local Morning Weather Report". It's just the two test patterns (My PHL17 reflection and color bars) with no audio.

I'm not sure if Verizon knows something, just what's on the on-screen guide.

Channel 10.3 with USports is on the air as of this morning (Saturday).
When will it appear on comcast here in the Philadelphia area?
