In watching UNIVISION NIGHTLY NEWS and it's on both UNIMAS and UNIVISION at the same time. Both have their own logo in the corner. Does UNIVISION not have anything else to broadcast on UNIMAS at 10:30 central time?

Two things; the newscast is probably airing on Unimas in order to help their local O&O's get news credit for FCC licensing purposes. The second is to try to bury Telemundo's sports show in that timeslot with a big combined rating as UNI's Contacto Deportivo leading out of it (which gets its own simulcast on Univision Deportes) is very competitive with ESPN, especially in Hispanic-American homes. I'd rather see any news there than another dubbed film.
